Board Chairman: Dr. Evans Ansu Twumasi

Dr Twumasi is a medical doctor by profession and a Pastor by calling. Having pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in laboratory technology at the university of cape coast Ghana, his desire for knowledge and undying passion to serve drove him to further pursue a postgraduate medical study in the Philippines at the Southwestern University School of medicine, Cebu City. Having been awarded a postgraduate degree in medicine (Doctor of Medicine, MD) in 2018, he returned back to his home country to serve his people. Dr. Twumasi is currently working at the 37 Military Hospital, Accra Ghana.

He has served in many other positions including the following:

  • Vice President – Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students, 2006-2007

Board Vice Chairman: Emma Baah Agyapong, Director, EAF

Emma, holds an MSc in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation with specialization in natural resources management at the University of Twente (The Netherlands) and Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology (Ghana) and MSc in Tropical Forestry at the University Bangor, UK. Emma holds BSc in Forest Resources Technology and Diploma in Natural Resources Management at Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology (Ghana), Diploma in Human Resources Management and Strategic Management at the University of Bournemouth, UK. She is a young woman who has a passion for biodiversity conservation and has supported the management of Ghana’s Forest Reserve in Brong Ahafo, Ahafo and Bono East Regions of Ghana for over ten years. As a Project Officer for several NGOs and a consultant for natural resources management, she has assisted several local communities (e.g. the Black Volta Basin catchment communities) to conserve their natural resources in the transitional zone and Northern Ghana. She has also been involved in community mobilization, mapping and inventory of natural resources and environmental management campaigns in Brong Ahafo and Northern Ghana. Emma played a leading role in the baseline assessment of black Volta basin socio-ecological production landscape and waterscape in Ghana which was funded by United NationDevelopment Programme (UNDP) under the Small Grants programme of the Global Environmental Facility (SGF-GEF) in 2015.

Board Treasurer: Ms. Lydia Aborga

  • Studied BSc in Natural Resources Management at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology between 2010-2014.
  • She is currently working with the Forestry Commission of Ghana as a Field Monitoring and Inspection. She has been engaged in inspection and grading of logs and processed timber, educating and engaging timber contractors on effective logging and use of protective materials.
  • She is passionate in finding lasting solutions to deforestation and forest management issues

Board Secretary: Mr. Francis Atia

Mr. Atiah is an Occupational Health and Safety professional, a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi and a product of the then Forestry School in Sunyani Ghana.

He has12 years of Safety practice experience, over 15 years of Forestry and Forest Industry practice and social work. He has served in various positions in Forestry, Forest Industry and the

Oil and Gas Industry within Ghana as follows:

During the years of Forestry and Forest Industry operations Mr. Atiah participated in several Local and National Workshops on Forest and environmental issues organized by both Government, International NGOs and Local Communities.

Board Member: Mr. Aziebu Edem Yaw Wisdom

Wisdom is an Environmental Scientist by profession, who is a multi-entrepreneur with very strong leadership skills, great organizational and team driver and a strong motivator by all standards. Having pursued a Bachelor of Science degree from the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, currently works permanently with the Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana since 2015.

Mr Aziebu E.Y Wisdom is currently the CEO and Co-founder of about three companies which include Alfa Environmental Services Limited, WISBEN farms company Limited, WISDEES company, a board member of Angels Palace Organization (APOF) which is a Zimbabwe based NGO now in Ghana and also a Board Executive Member of Environment and Agroforestry Foundation in Ghana.

Board Member: Mr. Bashiruddin Mahmood Yahya
Mr. Bashiruddin is a professional teacher and a graduate of university of education, Winneba.
He has 33 years of teaching experience and social work and has served in various positions at local, regional and national levels such as;

  • Miss Ghanson is a PhD student at Cyprus International University and with her Research expertise in sustainability, Social cooperate responsibility, Collaboration.
  • She is the Sustainable Farm Director at Cyprus international University sustainability project.
  • She obtained her Master’s degree in Tourism Management at Cyprus International University 2018 – 2020.
